What is it?
A blog: a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.
What is it for?
A place to share our own good stuff. A place to find and share the good practice that exists within our own school; what works well for us and our students. It is also a place to share what we learn from our coaching triads.
A place to find good stuff from other schools – links to blogs, newspaper articles and youtube clips that may inspire us to try new things in our classrooms.
What do I do now?
Read through what is here. Comment on anything you find interesting. Share something that you have found interesting in your classroom by emailing LH – a word document, with pictures is great. If you’ve got something going on in your classroom that you want to share – get in touch, we can get photos done too. Every week, in Small Gains, I’ll add one small thing that someone is doing in school that makes a difference. If you want to write a longer blog post (up to 1000 words) please let me know, there are loads of examples on here already. Give it a go. It’s really interesting to reflect on what we are doing and does help improve our teaching.
